Getting personal:  I enjoy helping people, growing up I always wanted to become a physician. During my residency, I fell in love with endocrinology while working with a physician who became my mentor.  I enjoyed every minute of the endocrine clinic and caring for patients with diabetes. The best part about being an endocrinologist is the long-term relationships with patients. Since many conditions in endocrinology are chronic conditions, I get to know my patients very well and spend a lot of time teaching them about the benefits and side effects of the treatments that we pick. I find that the more that my patients know, the better they do. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family.
